+ HAMS is on a roll

Gm☀️
While the world was crazy about Messi’s debut goal at Inter Miami and Barbenheimer bringing the box office its best week since Avengers: End Game, crypto was all over hamster racing and dystopian eyeball scanning project.
Meanwhile, we want to give a massive shout-out to Afsar, who referred 177 new readers to Crypdonuts just in the past week! Congratulations on your 5 NFTs and 9.85 billion $DOUGH 🎉

Crypto data as of 0:00 UTC, stock data as of market close.
Bitcoin dipped below $29,500 for the first time since June 21, with people expecting another rate hike by the Fed on Wednesday. The CME FedWatch Tool posted a 99.8% chance that another rate hike will take place.
The silver lining is that this may be the last one for the year, which would give a green light for crypto and stocks alike to soar freely.

Telegram bot token gives out $1.6M+ in two months

Unibot
Say goodbye to on-chain trading with horrible UX—you can just make trades by chatting to a bot on Telegram with Unibot. We’re guessing there was need for this since their token, UNIBOT, jumped 40x from under $4 to $150 in under two months.
Unibot is completely free to use for anyone, and it aims to make on-chain trading easy for users by skipping Metamask install and wallet connection. By issuing a new wallet address unique to your chatbot, you’re able to make trades simply by interacting with the bot.
$1,650,000
Unibot gives out 40% of its trading fees and 1% of UNIBOT’s trading volume as rewards to UNIBOT holders, and this is how much they distributed to its UNIBOT holders since May. They’ve collected over 3,000 ETH (~$5.6M) in trading fees, and their user count and revenue seems to be on a roll as well.
The token's recent roller-coaster ride to the top is largely credited to a heavy influx of trading volume. On July 20th, the trading volume broke the 100 ETH barrier and has been making leaps and bounds since, currently strutting around 300 ETH levels.
$73 per year
On July 23rd, UNIBOT holders each pocketed a neat $0.2 in profits for the day. If the token keeps this pace, it's looking at annual earnings per token hitting the $73 mark. Keep in mind, this sweet cash flow is yours no matter the price of the token. So, a guaranteed $73 per token in this situation doesn't sound too bad, does it?
Sound too good to be true?
Many Telegram bot projects manage the private keys within the bot. This defeats the whole purpose of blockchain’s “decentralization”, because users have to trust the bots and the developers of the project with their security.
Bobby Ong, the COO of CoinGecko also raised concerns saying, “It absolutely won't surprise me if one of the bots ended up sniffing / storing the private keys of its users and rugging all its users by sweeping the funds to their own wallet.”

All-in on Sparky
If Doge and Pepe the Frog left you thinking you'd seen it all, brace yourself for the latest frenzy – livestream hamster racing. But don't be mistaken, this isn't your usual virtual shenanigans. We're talking about actual, real-life, furry hamsters.
As bizarre as it sounds, the hamster racing crypto token, HAMS, did a mini rocket launch from $0.60 to $3.26 just over the weekend. Its utility? Owning HAMS tokens means you get a piece of the pie from the 5% fee Hamsters slaps on all the bets.
So, picture this – if people are betting a million bucks a month, you're looking at an annual return of $4,800 if you hold 1% of HAMS (which is currently ~$75,000).
The fur really flew on July 21, when hamster bets zoomed past $100,000 per day, sending HAMS prices through the roof. But bets plummeted to a mere $25,000 on July 23, dragging HAMS back down to a humble $0.75. I guess that's the crypto version of "running on a wheel".

Hello, $WLD

Worldcoin
The long-waited Worldcoin ($WLD), a crypto project by OpenAI leader Sam Altman, finally launched on Monday. The big brain behind ChatGPT is now preparing everyone for a “universal basic income”, or UBI, which he believes they’ll need because they will all lose their jobs to AI.
But here's where things get dicey. To get in on this UBI, you gotta let their bowling ball-looking gadget, orb, scan your eyeballs. Why? Just to confirm you're a real, breathing human. But is it really worth swapping your unique, irreplaceable iris data for some digital coins?
And just to add a little spice, Worldcoin has had its fair share of hacker drama in the past. So, people are rightfully concerned about their permanent, precious iris data ending up in some hacker's hands.
Nonetheless, $WLD shot off like a rocket. Starting at the price of $0.15, it peaked at $5.29, which is a whopping 35x increase. Now it's settled back to around $2.49, with a not-so-shabby market cap hovering around $21 billion.
